About
I write to make sense of what I can't yet say.
My songs come from real things — moments worth talking about, turned into something someone else can recognise as their own. I write them, but they were never only mine; they belong to anyone who has stood in the same place.
What I start from usually isn't words yet, just whatever is moving through my head at the time. The writing is me making sense of it — turning what I feel into something I can actually say. That is where the connection is.
I'm only human.
The same things everyone feels — I would rather say them than keep them quiet.
Mental health matters to me more than almost anything. Too many people carry it in silence when they shouldn't have to, and if the songs make it a little easier to say out loud, that is what they are for. Being there for that is the work I care about most.
Everything is made with care — considered, and refined — but never at the expense of what is true underneath.
Right now there are two projects, five recordings in all. The first is a song about depression — the reality of it, told without looking away — released as a full version and a radio edit. The second is a piano piece, with a normal version, a slowed and reverb version, and a sped-up version.
I'm based in Ireland. Alongside the recordings, I take on a small amount of one-to-one work — voice, piano, mentorship — for people serious about their own. New recordings and openings reach the mailing list first.
Write here if you'd like to listen, work together, license a track, or book a show.
